Double Glazed Timber Conservatories and Sunrooms - made in NZ

At ThermaDura we are specialized in manufacturing unique luxury, German quality double glazed timber conservatories, orangeries, sun rooms and impressive conservatory walls for residential and commercial projects. Our double- or triple glazed conservatories are available in a natural timber post-beam construction with an exterior Aluminium or timber shell.

At ThermaDura we have got many years of experience in the NZ window/conservatory industry and we pride ourselves in providing quality solutions for your projects. We work together with your architect, designer and builder to realize your project - while all our conservatories, orangeries and sun rooms are proudly manufactured in Mosgiel.

ThermaDura conservatories are currently only available for the Dunedin region.

German Conservatory System - Manufactured in New Zealand

"Wintergarten" is the German word for conservatory. ThermaDura "Wintergarten" conservatories have the best insulation as we intend to create a 'living space". To ensure that you can use your conservatory all year round we use high performance Low-E double glazing (U-value of 1.1) as a standard. We also supply blinds to protect you from the sun, and we can advice -in cooperation with your architect or draughtsman- on the best heating/cooling and ventilation system for your location and design.

We use a “post and beam” design with naturally durable timber (Siberian Larch) which is also thermally efficient.

The ThermaDura "Wintergarten" conservatory system is a modular conservatory system that allows you to have the best quality conservatory. We currently offer either a gable or a pitched roof conservatory in different sizes and variations. See our "Wintergarten" conservatory range here.
