Sustainability
Sustainability means meeting our own needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.
We all know the ecological resources are limited. Only through the wise use of our environment, the quality of life and rising prosperity will ensure.

We at ThermaDura are aware of our responsibility for the protection and conservation of natural resources.
Our guideline to achieve this:

-
Use of FSC or PEFC - certified timber
-
Minimize waste by evaluating operations and ensuring they are as efficient as possible.
-
Minimize waste by re-using packing materials
-
Efficient handling of raw materials, energy and water along with consistent waste separation, is a matter our course.
-
Actively live the non-throw-away-mentality: we only use quality machines and quality components for it, which ensure durability and longevity.
-
Re-using all timber shavings and saw dust for making pellets, as an efficient heating material
-
Avoid toxic emissions through the use of water-based finishes
-
Source and promote a product range to minimize the environmental impact of both production and distribution.
FSC- Certification
The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is an international non-profit, multi-stakeholder organization established in 1993 to promote responsible management of the world’s forests.

When timber leaves an FSC-certified forest they ensure companies along the supply chain meet the best practice standards also, so that when a product bears the FSC logo, you can be sure it’s been made from responsible sources. In this way, FSC certification helps forests remain thriving environments for generations to come, by helping you make ethical and responsible choices at your local supermarket, bookstore, furniture retailer, and beyond.

That is why we at ThermaDura also use FSC certified timber with our Siberian Larch, which is perfect for conservatories, windows and doors.
